Cannabis Retail Budtender

Position:Full or Part Time

We're seeking a dependable, personable budtender who takes pride in customer service and keeping a store running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, follows direction, and stays productive during both busy and quiet shifts.

• Welcome customers and help them select products based on their preferences, experience, and budget.

• Explain product types, potency, and consumption methods clearly without making medical claims.

• Verify identification and required credentials, and follow store procedures and applicable cannabis regulations.

• Process purchases accurately using our point-of-sale system.

• Handle cash, count drawers, and complete opening and closing duties.

• Receive, organize, label, and restock inventory.

• Keep displays, counters, and the sales floor clean and organized.

• Communicate inventory needs and customer concerns to management.

• Work respectfully with coworkers and follow management direction.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.

• Comfortable handling cash and learning point-of-sale software.

• Basic cannabis knowledge and a willingness to keep learning.

• Able to stay organized, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.

• Available to work [required shifts].

• Meets applicable age and employment eligibility requirements.

Preferred: Previous cannabis retail, customer service, or cash-handling experience. [Training available for the right candidate.]
