Job Description & How to Apply Below

Aperture is a vertically integrated aerospace and data-analytics company dedicated to solving one of Earth's most critical challenges: soil moisture visibility. While soil moisture regulates the global food supply and dictates the severity of natural disasters, from wildfires to floods, high-resolution measurement at a global scale has remained elusive.

We are bridging this data gap through the development of proprietary, low-frequency satellite payloads. By leveraging the unique ability of low-frequency radio signals to penetrate dense vegetation and reach the subsurface, we are unlocking insights previously hidden from conventional radar bands. Inspired by the legacy of NASA's NISAR and the economic impact of Landsat, Aperture is pioneering the golden age of L-band SAR to provide the world with a high-resolution soil moisture insights platform.

The Role

Aperture is looking for a Customer Success & Partnerships Manager to support and grow relationships with agricultural co-ops, precision ag groups, channel partners, and growers.

The role sits between customer success, account management, and commercial operations, ensuring customers and partners stay engaged, supported, and successful with Aperture while helping expand existing relationships. It works closely with company leadership on customer relationships, partner programs, and account expansion.

We're looking for someone organized, proactive, comfortable talking with customers, and excited by agriculture and technology, not a traditional enterprise salesperson.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the health and renewal of existing customer relationships (coops, precision ag groups, dealers, growers), running a consistent engagement cadence of account reviews, check-ins, and follow-ups so every important account has a clear next step.
  • Lead onboarding and training for new coops, dealers, and channel partners, and build the reusable resources (training materials, FAQs, product documentation) that make it repeatable and scalable.
  • Monitor account health and adoption to catch retention risks early, re-engage inactive or underused accounts, and identify where existing customers can expand.
  • Keep customer activity, opportunities, account status, and next steps current in the CRM.
  • Contribute to customer communications, newsletters, product updates, educational content, and success stories that highlight how growers and advisors create value with Aperture.
  • Surface recurring customer needs, product feedback, and portfolio-level trends (risks, expansion opportunities, overall health) to company leadership.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in customer success, account management, or a similar customer-facing role, with a record of keeping customers engaged and renewing.
  • Someone customers genuinely enjoy working with. This role runs on relationships: growers, agronomists, and coop staff should trust this person and take their call. Rapport and follow-through matter more than sales polish.
  • Agriculture background strongly preferred. Agronomist-level depth isn't required, but the strongest candidates can hold their own with one. Experience in agriculture, agronomy, irrigation, precision ag, or ag retail is a significant plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to learn a technical product and explain it clearly to non-technical growers and advisors.
  • Organized and dependable across many relationships at once, tracking next steps and following up without being chased.
  • Proactive and self-directed in a small, fast-moving company.
  • Comfortable using a CRM as the system of record for customer activity and follow-up.
What success looks like

Within the first 6-12 months:

  • Existing customers renew, and the 2026 accounts carry into the 2027 season with strong acre-level…
