BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking a Development Scientist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Maine. Join our team: advancing health, together.
The RoleIn this role your responsibilities will include:
- Play a key role in providing antibody development and production services according to standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Completing all planned laboratory work required for projects within the team.
- Receive training in areas relating to antibody development and production services.
- Be expected to execute all process steps outlined in the SOP’s with minimal supervision.
- Documenting service work through service batch records.
- Generating customer documentation in the form of reports.
- Science based degree.
- Practical laboratory skills.
- Ideally demonstrable working experience within a laboratory environment, preferably in antibody development and production.
- Knowledge of immunology and analytical technique.
