What You'll Do- Fit, assemble, and install piping systems according to blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedures
- Perform stick, TIG, and/or MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping
- Prepare materials – cutting, beveling, threading, grinding – to required specifications
- Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Safely operate tools, torches, and rigging equipment in field and shop settings
- Collaborate with foremen, welders, and fitters to execute on schedule with precision
- Follow strict safety protocols, including hot work permitting, confined space procedures, and PPE requirements
- Prior experience in pipe welding, pipe fitting, or industrial construction
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Certifications in SMAW/GTAW welding preferred (or willingness to test)
- Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Competitive wages: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications

- Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM - Based at the Portland shop or on site as needed; occasional travel to project sites
