Summary

Under the direct supervision of a Master Electrician, the Journeyman Electrician role performs skilled electrical work in the installation, inspection, alteration, testing, maintenance and repair of complex electrical systems, machinery and equipment to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

* Education:

Trade School diploma with courses in blueprint reading, electricity, mathematics and physics preferred.

* License/

Certifications:

State license as a Journeyman Electrician required. State license as a Boiler Operator within 12 months of start date preferred. Valid Driver's License required.

* Experience:

Four years of institutional, commercial, or industrial wiring experience required.
