BRIGHTON CAMPUS PORTAND MAINE SummaryThe HVAC Mechanic role is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to maintain first-class operating condition.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
Apprenticeship and/or Post-secondary education with courses in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical wiring and controls, plumbing, blueprint reading, and/or boiler operation preferred. - License/
Certifications:
State License as a Boiler Operator, 3rd or 4th Class and/or Stationary Steam Engineer within one year of start date required. Valid Driver’s License required. - Experience:
Three years of experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or related field required.
