Hourly, part-time position involves serving youth and families in Portland.
Ideal candidate will be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage, and activity reimbursement.
Hourly rate: $21.00 per hour
Qualifications/Requirements- Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at-risk youth.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is plus.
- Reliable insured transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
