Unreal Developer

We engineer high-availability platforms, and we are searching for an Unreal Developer fluent in JavaScript to keep them humming. What makes this Merck role different is the ownership; the $53,000 - $77,000 and hybrid hours are just the entry fee.

• Turn vague technology tickets into crisp, testable CI/CD acceptance criteria
• Build Tailwind CSS self-service tools so Portland teams stop filing tickets for everything
• Apply Express.js and Vue.js to solve nimble engineering challenges
• Map data flow across Merck's RabbitMQ services and spot the leaks
• Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements proactively
• Hand off Self-Motivation runbooks so the next on-call at Merck sleeps better

• Equal parts Cypress depth and RabbitMQ curiosity
• Comfortable owning projects from concept through delivery
• Judgment seasoned by at least 1 years of real consequences
• Knowledge of ME-specific regulations relevant to technology work
• The judgment to say no to good ideas at the wrong time
