Senior Tax Accountant

Go Green Tax is seeking an experienced accountant to join our small, but mighty team. This role is for an experienced professional comfortable working with clients to prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns. CPA is a plus.

• Prepare complex individual and business returns
• Prepare and present tax advisory work. Will be coordinating with Financial Planner.
• Collaborate with team to utilize online workflows for scheduling and job tracking
• Provide timely and high-quality service exceeding client expectations
• Research and develop tax planning strategies
• Maintain relationships with clients as a trusted advisor

• 3+ years of tax experience. CPA or working towards it preferred. EAs are awesome too.
• Expertise in preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and multi-state tax returns
• Strong technical skills:
  Our tech stack is Pro Connect, Tax Plan IQ, Karbon, Truss, Outlook, QBO. Bonus points for being proficient in the first four. Minimum need to be proficient in the latter two.

• Humor and teamwork. We re a team of five. You will wear many hats, sometimes throughout the course of one day. If you have ever used the phrase, "That s not in my job description/union contract." we are not a good fit.
• Outstanding reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. You will be front facing with clients.
• Ability to prioritize and function efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• BBQ Thursdays. You will be in charge of grilling for the team on Thursday.
