Staff Accountant; GL, AP & Expense

Our client is seeking a detail-driven Staff Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys bringing order, clarity, and consistency to financial operations. This role is fully remote. Candidates must be located on the West Coast.

• Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable processing end‑to‑end, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
• Review and process employee expenses and travel submissions through Expensify/Navan.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits, documentation, and compliance needs.
• Assist with process improvements and scaling initiatives across GL, AP, and expense workflows.

• 1+ year of experience in GL, AP, and expense accounting within a technology or high‑growth environment.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4
  
  Hana, , Expensify, and Navan.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
• Proven ability to work accurately, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Up to $30‑$40/hr (DOE)
