Accounting Manager
Salary/Pay Range$75,000 - $90,000 DOE
Reports toKevin Johnson, Controller
Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
General SummaryWe are seeking an accounting professional who enjoys working in a team and improving process. The Accounting Manager oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing department. In this role, you’ll mentor a small team, collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely billing. This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you’ll make a direct impact on both our client experience and our company’s financial health.
RequirementsEssential Functions
- Lead, mentor and support team members within the Accounting and Billing departments.
- Facilitate workflows of internal and external questions and requests from Accounting and Billing departments.
- Process, review, and audit billing to compare worked performance to estimates.
- Process, review and reconcile various reports as needed.
- Provide training and support for new hires and existing team members on departmental process and procedures.
- Facilitate client billings of products and services with external and internal business partners to ensure documentation is supported.
- Record journal entries as required.
- Preparation of sales tax liability work papers and reconciling sales taxes in accounting system.

- Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft:
Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams (preferred), and Adobe Acrobat PDF, and ERP or IT/Accounting systems - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well with others, as well as the ability to use sound independent judgment.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must be flexible and able to handle high pressure projects and situations.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
- Four years of experience in accounting and/or billing
- Supervisory experience
