Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AP Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in accounts payable but is eager to expand into broader accounting responsibilities. The position offers room for growth into general accounting duties and the potential to advance into a Senior Accountant role
.
* This is a fully onsite position*
$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (70%)
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage payment runs, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate AP records and assist with month-end close related to AP.
General Accounting (30%)
- Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field highly preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with strong AP background.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
This role is designed for individuals who want to develop into a broader accounting function

- Exposure to general ledger and financial reporting.
- Potential promotion to Senior Accountant as skills and responsibilities expand.
