Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Leadership

  • Oversee month‑end close, ensuring timely and accurate financials.
  • Manage general ledger activity and maintain high standards of data integrity.
  • Lead and review the accounts receivable processes.

Advanced Accounting Functions

  • Oversee and maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and related reporting.
  • Prepare and review complex and non‑routine journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across workflows.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to streamline accounting operations in a continuously improving environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Strong background in GL management, reconciliations, fixed assets
  • Experience leading others
  • Proficiency with modern “cloud based” accounting systems
