Office Operations Coordinator at Alera Group, Inc.

Alera Group is looking for an Office Operations Coordinator to join our Portland, Oregon office. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team - joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

Responsibilities
  • Serve as first point of contact by greeting visitors, assisting employees, answering calls, and managing front office duties.
  • Support the Portland, Oregon office with clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail, packages, checks, and Fed Ex shipments; validate parking and manage vendor/service issues.
  • Maintain working knowledge of internal systems, directories, and carrier/vendor platforms.
  • Provide operational and client support including data entry, document prep, report generation, and mailings.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, manage office/breakroom supplies, and ensure meeting room tech is ready.
  • Assist with equipment returns, maintenance requests, and complete cross-departmental projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience required; reception experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor with proven customer service abilities.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office.
