Compensation $38 - $40 per hour. 40‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday, in‑office.
SummaryLeads a team of admins providing high‑level administrative support to various managers. Plans, organises, and oversees projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, acting as the central point of communication and coordination for stakeholders.
Duties- Provides support to Portfolio Supervisors for daily portfolio operations
- Manages a variety of property management‑related projects
- Plans and implements company events
- Responds to emails and phone calls and elevates issues to Portfolio Supervisors when appropriate
- Coordinates, assembles and distributes monthly owner reporting packages
- Responsible for weekly and monthly client reporting requirements
- Coordinates carpet inspection process, violation letters to residents, reasonable accommodation requests, prospective resident appeals and Rural Development reserve withdrawal requests
- Orders various property‑related signs, pagers, stamps, uniforms, gifts, etc.
- Coordinates and assembles care packages with operational materials for property acquisitions
- Responsible for coordinating Property Inspection Requests
- Coordinates claims with third parties
- Provides telephone support coverage
- Provides general clerical and administrative support
- Drafts, edits and formats professional client and internal documents
- Creates monthly employee and resident newsletter
- Maintains electronic and paper files
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
- Experience leading a team
- Property management experience with transaction and terminology exposure
- Proficiency in Office Suite;
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required - Efficiency with a project management software such as MS Project, Asana, etc. preferred
- Basic accounting and/or financial statement knowledge highly preferred
- Yardi software experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail
- Possess initiative, be self‑motivated, work well independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to effectively multi‑task and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple deadlines with a sense of urgency
