Ron Tonkin Chevrolet has been servicing Portland’s automotive needs for decades and, as always, business is growing! We are looking to add a Used Car Technician/Mechanic to our Service Department. Many of our clientele for our service department are used‑car owners, so this position plays a significant role on our service team. The ideal candidate will have prior technician experience with a reliable track record.

Base pay range: $24.00/hr – $35.00/hr.

• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership’s standards.
