Hybrid - four days in office.
This position is contingent upon the renewal or acquisition of additional funding. Layoff is determined by seniority.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the scholarship awarding process which includes communicating with students, faculty, advisors, and the PCC Foundation to successfully award scholarships. This also entails maintaining data trackers and navigating internal PCC data systems such as Grad Plan, banner, etc.
- Support with procurement and fiscal tracking for project overall which includes working with the Budget Manager, the PCEF Project Manager, program managers, Deans, and other PCC procurement staff
- Process requests for purchases, tuition payments, exemption, and vendor payments; computes or verifies data, fees or payments, enters data and forward or file paperwork.
- Communicate with various internal PCC stakeholders such as department Instructional Administrative Assistants, The Opportunity Centers, and Future Connect for successful student recruitment and enrollment
- Assist in resolving problems and ensuring good customer service.
- Perform research, data gathering activities, assists in data analysis, and help prepare reports or summaries of information.
- Attend and participate in meetings and committees and take minutes or notes and perform follow-up activities.
- Assist with administrative processes such as job requisitions and student registration
- Support with building courses, both credit and non-credit
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Experience with or ability to use Banner, Grad Plan, Workday, Chrome River, and other College database systems
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining spreadsheets, for the purpose of tracking a project’s budget, revenue, and expenditures
- Experience with or ability to process student tuition and process payments to payments for a variety of services and supplies
- Experience creating protocols, tools and systems for effective management of data
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with faculty, staff, students, community members, and co-workers
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with proactive and detail-oriented working style.
Associate’s degree or equivalent units and two years of progressively responsible experience related to administrative work, project management, and grant support work. Experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
