Position SummaryThe Service Coordinator is responsible for clear and frequent communication with Field Technicians and coordinating and dispatching jobs. In addition, this role will assist with scheduling and delivering specific products and/or services from qualified suppliers and subcontractors within established Company policies and practices.
Position Details- Manages work order documents and project invoicing (A/P).
- Provides labor resources to support Project Managers, Project Engineers and technicians for large and small projects.
- Coordinates materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on needs, skill sets and availability.
- Responsible for generating, interpreting and printing various reports in our tracking system.
- Responsible for dispatching and coordinating Field Technicians as needed, including facilitating technician or dispatcher onboarding.
- Research and resolve expense and report discrepancies.
- Update and retain customer account information related to special billing conditions, tax status, invoice approval contacts, billing addresses and special billing rates. Part of this includes preparing yearly, monthly and weekly execution plans for technician schedules.
- Partners with other team members on accounts receivable and Customer Satisfaction, including Client follow-up / Retention program – Projects & Agreements – and satisfaction management.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree (AA) preferred but not required.
- 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with COINS ERP a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
