Under the direction of the Associate AD for External Affairs, the Director of Ticket Sales and Service will provide leadership and strategic direction for the ticket sales and service unit within Athletics. This position will be responsible for developing and executing results‑driven sales strategies to drive revenue, providing elite customer service for season ticket members and guests and managing ticket operations in collaboration with Portland State University Box Office leadership for all ticketed sports.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sport management, finance, accounting, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in ticket sales and operations within a sports environment
- Experience utilizing ticketing software such as Ticketmaster, University Tickets, Paciolian or similar programs
- Proven track record of developing sales strategies to increase revenue from season ticket, group and single‑game sales
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Track record of building quality relationships and delivering elite customer service
- Experience managing and leading a sales team
- Master’s degree in business, marketing, sports management, finance, accounting or a related field
- Experience working in an NCAA Division I athletic ticket office or a professional sports organization
- Evidence of strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey thoughts, ideas and plans to coaches, administrators and other staff members

Salary range: $49,140 – $52,332 annually, with potential for negotiation based on experience. Full benefits include 95% premium‑paid health care, a generous retirement and vacation package, and reduced tuition rates for eligible employees, spouses or dependents at Oregon University System schools.
