Kids Apparel Buyer

We’re seeking a strategic, consumer-focused Apparel Buyer to help shape assortments for a growing kids category. This role blends retail expertise, analytical rigor, and strong cross-functional partnership to deliver compelling product strategies and drive performance.

• Develop seasonal assortment strategies informed by consumer insights, market trends, and business performance.
• Determine unit investment, buy depth, and product mix to optimize current and future seasons.
• Recap business weekly against forecast; analyze inventory and identify actionable opportunities.
• Partner with allocation, site merchandising, and cross-functional teams to ensure seasonal readiness.
• Lead classification and portfolio management efforts to support long‑term business growth.
• Build strong partnerships across internal teams and key external stakeholders.
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.

• 3–5+ years of experience in retail buying, planning, merchandising, or product management.
• Strong understanding of retail metrics, forecasting, inventory management, and assortment planning.
• Ability to turn data and consumer insights into clear business recommendations.
• Strategic mindset with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional partners and drive alignment.
• Passion for apparel, consumer trends, and building commercially successful assortments.
