Foreman Position

An established painting and coatings company is interviewing for a Foreman position in the Portland area. We are looking for experienced candidates who are ready to go to work with our team.

Candidates will need to possess and prove strong leadership skills in the construction industry and provide past relevant experience. Must know how to work with project drawings, estimates, and budgets, and work in cooperation with the Project Manager to supply accurate information for monthly billings and cost to complete. Duties will also include but are not limited to:

• Organizing projects on front end with help of Project Manager and Estimator.
• Maintain daily reports and Change order request.
• Ordering materials and sundries for projects.
• Monitoring crew hours and supplying critical up-to-date time reports for projects.
• Meeting with clients’ (GC) representatives to discuss project issues.
• Reading and understanding project plans and specifications.
• Preparing documents in Word.
• Corresponding with clients and crew by phone and email.

• Must have 3 years of Foreman history.
• Must know how to get along with all kinds of personalities and keep an even, fair prospective.
• Must have a current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation. Company vehicles come after grace period and performance review.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a current drug card.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
