New Business Designer

New Business Designer role at FINN Partners.

FINN Partners is looking for a hands-on, collaborative Designer to join our new business team. You will shape work that helps us grow by conceptualizing, designing, and developing graphics, illustrations, and decks for new business presentations. You will become knowledgeable of FINN brand standards, clients, and the work we do for them.

• Stretch your creative muscles developing concepts and designs that make our pitches impossible to ignore
• Work across a wide range of projects and sectors, learning something new with every pitch
• Collaborate with teammates across the globe
• Create polished, inventive design work from layouts and mockups to full pitch decks
• Work within brand guidelines while finding fresh ways to push them further
• Work with Account and Creative teams to bring the creative strategy to life
• Contribute to the creative conversation, bringing curiosity, perspective, and ideas
• Prepare, refine, and organize design assets and imagery

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a design role
• Advanced knowledge and skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office; strong use of the Google Suite (PPT & Slides)
• Competence and experience in graphic design with a professional portfolio
• Commitment to quality, meticulous attention to detail, and consistency in work product
• Strong layout and design abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a project within a team environment
• Self-motivated and organized

• Understanding of the difference between making something look good and making it work
• Ability to work with other designers, writers, and strategists or independently
• Curious self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and drive from initiation to final deliverable
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
• Strong concepting and collaboration skills
• Comfort working in ambiguity

The approved compensation range for this role is $55,000 – $70,000 depending on location and experience.
