KATU/KUNP is looking for an experienced, dynamic anchor/reporter who leads shows, participates in planning, and regularly produces content. The anchor should report daily, delivering compelling content to the newscast, and embrace social media with the ability to engage with the audience. Collaboration is a big part of this role.

• Participate in the planning of shows and regularly produce content.
• Report daily, delivering compelling content to the newscast.
• Serve as a team leader and collaborate with colleagues.
• Engage with the audience on social media.
• Demonstrate investigative techniques in daily stories.
• Ask difficult questions of sources with poise and clarity.

• Strong leadership skills.
• Smooth and pleasant delivery.
• Strong writing skills and news judgment.
• Ability to demonstrate investigative techniques in daily reporting.
• Poise to ask difficult questions of sources comfortably.
• Exemplary communication skills.
• 4+ years of on-air experience; 3 years of full-time anchoring experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Live commercial television experience is a must.
• Strong in-the-field and live reporting skills.
• Exceptional written communications skills using a conversational style.
• Strong editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundation.
