Seeking an entry-level Colorist for an upcoming independent music video project in Portland. We're looking for someone with a fresh eye to bring our visuals to life. This is for a high-energy pop track with a vibrant, slightly surreal aesthetic, so we need a colorist who can enhance that playful, dreamlike quality while maintaining a polished, professional look. You'll be responsible for color correcting and grading all footage, ensuring consistency across scenes, and delivering final graded files in specified formats.
We're shooting on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro, so familiarity with Blackmagic RAW workflows and DaVinci Resolve is essential. Please have a portfolio or reel demonstrating your color grading skills, even if it's primarily personal projects or short form work. The shoot itself is planned for 1-2 days in the second half of November 2026, and we anticipate about 3-5 days of post-production work, primarily focused on coloring, shortly thereafter.
Compensation is $500-800 per day, depending on experience. We'll provide all raw footage and project files. Please send your reel and a brief introduction to your experience. We aim to make a decision by November 10, 2026.
Budget Range
$500-800/day
