Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Landscape Designer based in Portland, Oregon. The Landscape Designer will work closely with clients to design outdoor spaces that meet their needs and preferences. Responsibilities include developing landscape and hardscape designs, creating detailed planting plans, collaborating with project teams, and supervising project installations to ensure quality and client satisfaction. The role also involves consulting with clients on design preferences and providing expertise on landscaping ideas and solutions.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Landscape Design and Landscape Architecture
  • Knowledge of hardscape design and its applications
  • Experience creating detailed and functional planting plans
  • Expertise in landscaping techniques and practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and teams
  • Familiarity with design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar)
  • Understanding of local plants and ecological practices
  • Relevant degree or certification in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is preferred
  • Passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and sustainable outdoor spaces
