The Institute on Development and Disability within the Department of Pediatrics at OHSU works with patients, families, clinicians, researchers and many other professionals to meet the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities. Function/Duties

of Position

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service.

Services provided include the following:

  • Participation in single discipline and interdisciplinary teams for the evaluation and management of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disabilities including (but not limited to) cerebral palsy, spina bifida, congenital brain malformations, and neurogenetic disorders in selected CDRC clinics.
  • Participation in interdisciplinary training at the CDRC.
  • Service on various Institute on Development and Disability (IDD)/CDRC and OHSU committees as appropriate and assigned.
  • Engagement in public service through consultative activities with non‑OHSU groups as approved by the Director; and conduct of clinical projects or research in selected areas of interest.
  • The duties of this position include
