Function and Duties of Position

The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a full‑time faculty position. This is a 1.0 FTE Assistant to Associate Professor appointment (12‑month, fixed‑term) with responsibilities split evenly between the Consultation‑Liaison (CL) Service and the outpatient child psychiatry clinic
. The faculty member will devote 80% of their time to direct patient care (in both inpatient consultation and outpatient settings) and 20% to supervision, teaching, and other academic responsibilities
. In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence‑based psychiatric care to children and adolescents, collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to OHSU's missions of clinical excellence, education, and scholarly inquiry
. Research and other scholarly activities are encouraged but not required
