Are you a dedicated rheumatology specialist seeking a dynamic opportunity to make a difference? We are actively recruiting an experienced Internal Medicine - Rheumatology physician to provide expert outpatient care in a hospital outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outpatient rheumatology care, including management of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
- Administer intravenous therapies related to rheumatological treatment.
- Collaborate with hospital credentialing teams to obtain necessary privileges.
- Manage a patient load providing comprehensive and compassionate care within designated hours.
- Ensure all treatments and procedures adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology within five years of residency.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in outpatient care management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills with patients and staff.
Skills:
- Experience with hospital credentialing processes.
- Knowledge of intravenous therapy administration.
- Prior experience working in outpatient hospital departments.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of Rheumatology fellowship.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of outpatient rheumatology experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid medical license; providers requiring licensure must hold or be in the process of obtaining Ohio (OR) licensure.
- Ability to work 4-5 days per week, 32-36 hours weekly, with flexibility within shift hours (typically 7 am to 5 pm).
- Availability for 1-2 weeks per month is desirable.
- Participation in hospital credentialing processes.
- Must be comfortable administering intravenous therapies related to rheumatology.
- Travel and licensing reimbursements available if applicable.
