Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents? At Providence St. Vincent Medical Center , we are looking for a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide specialized behavioral health care through our innovative Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to tackle mood disorders and behavioral challenges, this role is for you!
Position OverviewAs a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses
- Managing medication and collaborating with therapy teams
- Providing care in both outpatient settings and through consults in the emergency and pediatric departments
- Participating in our Pathways Program, caring for adolescents aged 13-17
- Engaging in limited weekend rotations and call coverage
We believe in supporting our team members with a balanced work-life schedule:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday with 36 patient-facing hours and limited weekend rotation
- Clinical Mix: Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and consults (approx. 2x/week)
- Call Coverage: 2 weeknights/month and 3 weekends/year
- Preferred: Interest in consults and eating disorder coverage
