Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part‑Time Faculty assignments in Computer Science. The Department will review applications in this pool as new part‑time faculty are needed during the academic year. Your application may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full‑term class assignments.

Instructor Qualifications- Master's degree in a related field such as Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Systems Science.
- For game development classes, consideration will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject and two or more years of experience in computer game development.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Relevant recent industry or education/teaching experience.
The PCC district covers a 1,500‑square‑mile area in northwest Oregon and offers two‑year degrees, one‑year certificate programs, short‑term training, alternative education, pre‑college courses and lifelong learning. As part of our College community, you’ll enjoy:

- Official transcripts are required to be submitted within 2 weeks of offer date for degrees required in the stated Instructor Qualifications.
- Instructors shall have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution having the equivalent of regional accreditation.
