Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire a Nurse Administrator position. This is a full-time, non-union, administrative, exempt, and benefits-eligible position. POSITION OVERVIEW
  • This is a full-time position located at the Harmony Community Campus, home to Clackamas Community College’s Health Sciences programs.
  • The Nurse Administrator will work primarily on-site, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.
  • Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend hours may be required based on program needs, such as student events, clinical coordination, or accreditation activities.
  • The Harmony Campus is located in North Clackamas and serves as the central hub for Nursing and Allied Health programs, offering a collaborative and student-centered environment.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
  • This is a non-teaching position that provides leadership for the Nursing Program, which includes 60 students (30 first year and 30 second year) and 13 faculty members (6 full-time and 7 part-time).
  • Coordinates and ensures nursing program adherence to the Oregon State Board of Nursing and supports the Consortium for Nursing Education (OCNE) operating guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Administration for the Nursing Program (65%)
    • Coordinates and ensures Nursing Program adherence to the Oregon State Board of Nursing Division 21 Rules and Regulations.
    • Ensures compliance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
    • Coordinates and ensures Nursing Program adherence to the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education (OCNE) operating guidelines.
    • Supports and ensures program and College accreditation.
    • Supervises full-time and associate faculty in the nursing program.
    • Facilitates faculty recruitment efforts for the nursing program.
    • Collaborates in the development of faculty and student schedules for the nursing program.
    • Provides student support and oversees faculty and student concerns.
    • Contributes to the budget review and collaborates with college admissions and advising related to program entry.
    • Develops, updates, and maintains programmatic policies and handbooks.
    • Promotes Nursing Program.
  • Leadership (35%)
    • Provides leadership for the Nursing Program.
    • Serves as liaison between Clackamas Community College Nursing and the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN).
    • Fosters and maintains an environment conducive to teaching and learning, including coordination and support of faculty assignments.
    • Provides leadership in and contributes to the college’s diversity plan by fostering an environment of cooperation between students, staff and the public who represent a variety of cultural, social, economic, and educational backgrounds.
