• A Teacher will work in the program under the guidance and instruction of the Lead Teacher and Site Director. Responsibilities include assisting lead staff in maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, implementing a fun and engaging curriculum, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and the community.

• Pass a YMCA Background Check
• Meet all Teacher's Aide or Teacher standards as dictated by Oregon's Department of Early Learning and Care and Preschool for All including reaching a Step 4 or higher in the Oregon Registry
• Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• At least 18 years of age
