When you join Champions, you’ll support hardworking families and elementary-aged kids during out-of-school time, on school grounds. You’ll work with administrators to bring our programs to their district or partner with students to inspire higher achievement and engagement.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
- Implement Kinder Care's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
- Partner and connect with parents, to provide the best care and education for their children
- Support your center’s success; collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- Approved state trainer (preferred)
- 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
- Able to assume postures to engage with children and ensure safety
- Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
