Portland Community College is seeking qualified part‑time faculty to teach courses in Communication Studies. Applications will be reviewed in an interest pool and matched to classroom assignments as needed, including substitute and full‑term classes during the academic year.

• Teach part‑time courses in Communication Studies (lecture, lab, or lecture/lab).
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, assess student learning, and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support students’ academic success.

• Master’s degree in Speech Communication, Communication, or a related field.
• Alternatively, an interdisciplinary degree with a minimum of 30 graduate credits in Speech Communication.
• Or a related Speech Communication Master’s degree (e.g., Telecommunications or Mass Communication).
• Official transcripts must be submitted within 2 weeks of an offer.
• Credentials from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent foreign institution.

• Eligible for Oregon Sick Leave and retirement savings plans.
• Hourly rates determined by the type of course taught.
