Part Time Faculty Interest Pool – Computer Information Systems
Portland Community College (PCC) invites applications for part‑time faculty positions in the Computer Information Systems Department at the Sylvania Campus.

- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related STEM‑related bachelor’s degree.
- Four (4) years full‑time equivalent non‑teaching industry experience in the field.
- Completion of college‑level algebra or higher mathematics (required to teach courses such as CIS 120, 121 and 122).
- Official transcripts are required to be submitted within two weeks of offer date for degrees required in the stated Instructor Qualifications.
- Instructors must have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent foreign institution.

CompensationNewly hired part‑time faculty will generally start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule. Hourly rates are determined based upon the type of course taught (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab).
