Job Summary:
The Student Teaching Assistant will be responsible for collecting, grading, and organizing homework assignments in an efficient manner. Each week, approximately 2 assignments will need to be graded and scores organized in an Excel spreadsheet. These papers will then be returned to the professor before the next class period. On occasion, the Teaching Assistant will help students with SPSS.
- Collect student’s homework assignments from the professor
- Grade assignments based upon a grading template
- Keep track of all homework grades on an Excel spreadsheet
- Return the graded assignments to the professor before the next class
- If needed, help tutor students about SPSS
- Other relevant tasks as assigned
- Candidate must have taken PSY 215 with Dr. Pitzer
- Candidate must have received an A in PSY 215
- Candidate is competent with SPSS and Excel
