AY 24-25 Adjunct Faculty Pool – Technical and Professional Writing

The English Department provides courses in literature, rhetoric, composition and critical theory, equipping students with critical approaches to texts and professional writing.
Position SummaryQualified instructors are needed to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Technical and Professional Writing. Courses include: WR 227 (Introduction to Technical Writing), WR 327 (Technical Report Writing), and WR 431/531 (Advanced Topics in Technical Writing Technologies).
Minimum Qualifications- For WR 227/327:
Prior experience teaching college‑level technical, professional or business writing. - For WR 431/531:
Documentable and extensive professional experience using industry‑standard technical communication technology tools. - A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- For all courses:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution. - For WR 227/327:
Prior experience teaching at the college level. - For WR 431/531:
Professional experience in technical writing.
