Portland Public Schools seeks an innovative and passionate education professional to join our teaching team to continue the forward progress by enhancing the educational experience for our students.

Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Michigan Math Teaching Certificate or nearing completion of teacher certification program with Math endorsement.

2. Working knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The desired candidate would possess the following attributes:

1. Endorsements/Certifications in other applicable areas, grades 6-12.

2. Knowledge of MTSS and PBIS to support student needs.

3. Experience in working with special needs students

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

5. Excellent organizational skills

Experience with using learning management systems
