Portland Public Schools seeks an innovative and passionate education professional to join our teaching team to continue the forward progress by enhancing the educational experience for our students.

• Michigan Math Teaching Certificate or nearing completion of teacher certification program with Math endorsement.
• Working knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Endorsements/Certifications in other applicable areas, grades 6-12.
• Knowledge of MTSS and PBIS to support student needs.
• Experience in working with special needs students
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with using learning management systems
