Reed College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in post-1945 fiction and narrative of the United States beginning in August 2027. Teaching responsibilities include an introductory course in the English Department on narrative or fiction; an advanced course on one of these genres; a year-long interdisciplinary Humanities 110 with a preset syllabus; and advising year-long senior theses.
Ph.D. must be in hand by June 30, 2027.
