Role FocusAs a subject matter expert in drinking water and reuse treatment technologies, you’ll collaborate to strategize and deliver solutions for water treatment project challenges locally, nationally, and globally.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess planning, evaluations, piloting, modeling, and detailed design of drinking water treatment systems; strategic project delivery and design of both conventional treatment and potable reuse; regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive process engineering and project delivery experience in drinking water treatment, including process planning, evaluations, piloting, modeling, and detailed design
- Proven experience working on drinking water treatment projects
- Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and/or treatment processes and technologies
- Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to water treatment
- Self‑motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
- Professional Engineering license in Western United States or ability to transfer PE license (e.g. California, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska)
- Master’s or other graduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
- 8 or more years of direct experience in water treatment
- A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clients
