• Help solve problems and document solutions, express ideas through strong technical writing and verbal communication, and support technical reports, plans, and calculations in a consulting environment.
• Work on a variety of multi‑disciplinary projects, with substantial emphasis on soil, soil vapor/gas, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and stormwater investigations and remediation systems; chemical fate and transport assessment; hazardous waste management; permitting; and site planning.
• Provide guidance on green and sustainable remediation techniques for a variety of clients who would like to minimize their carbon footprint.
• Support litigation projects through cleanup cost evaluation and preparing materials for mediation and expert testimony.
• Be a member or leader of teams providing environmental consulting services to commercial and government clients.
• Perform complex technical tasks under oversight of more experienced technical reviewers/directors as appropriate.
• Possess knowledge and technical skills in Federal, Oregon and Washington regulations.

• B.S. or higher in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related discipline.
• 7 or more years post‑education environmental consulting experience.
• Professional registration in Oregon or Washington (preferably both) if a Geologist/Hydrogeologist.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Consistent and highly accurate project work.
• Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills.
• Comfortable working within both small and large project teams to achieve objectives.
• Ability to work in industrial and field environments as well as in the office.
• Flexible to work outside of business hours, when necessary.
• Proficiency with MS Office:
  Excel, Word, and Outlook, in particular.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
• Ability to work schedules conducive to project‑specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project‑specific requirements.

• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• 40‑Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR ) preferred.
• Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
