This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Senior Hydrogeologist based in Portland, OR, with the option to work remotely part‑time. The Senior Hydrogeologist will lead and manage groundwater and hydrology projects, oversee field investigations and hydrogeological analyses, and develop innovative water resource management strategies. Responsibilities include conducting groundwater modeling, preparing technical reports, managing regulatory compliance with resource management mandates, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver solutions to complex water resource challenges.
Qualifications- Expertise in Groundwater and Hydrology, including groundwater modeling and aquifer characterization
- Experience in Water Resource Management and strategic planning within regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in Field Work, including site investigations and data collection
- Strong understanding of Geology principles with practical application to water resource projects
- Advanced degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
- Strong project management, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Professional licensure as a Hydrogeologist or Geologist is required
- Familiarity with GIS, data analysis, and modeling software is advantageous
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal water resource regulations is beneficial
