My client is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their Portland office. This client‑facing role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept through completion.

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional communication and project delivery.
• Lead structural design for large‑scale projects including multi‑family mid‑rise buildings, schools, hospitals, and medical offices.
• Design using wood, concrete, and steel structural systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Manage all phases of projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of design documents and calculations.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required;
  Structural Engineer (S.E.) license in Oregon, Washington, or California strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, including project management responsibilities.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex projects in sectors such as multi‑family residential, education, and healthcare.
• Expertise in wood, concrete, and steel design.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with experience in client‑facing roles.
• Ability to work on-site in the Portland office.
