Structure Stress Engineer

Altitude Aerospace is an aerospace engineering services company in search of a strong candidate with positive and creative attitudes. We are looking for a highly driven individual for the position of Structure Stress Engineer.

• Participate in the definition of the engineering stress requirements with the client and in the evaluation of structural solutions;
• Prepare preliminary and conceptual sizing of aircraft structure;
• Perform Static Stress Analysis and Fatigue Analysis for the certification of airframe structures;
• Perform Finite Element Analysis and Internal Loads extraction on Nastran-Patran;
• Perform conventional hand calculations using standard methodologies (Bruhn, Niu, Roark, ESDU, etc.);
• Prepare, review and valid stress notes and other required stress deliverables as well as engineering drawing;
• Develop and validate stress methodologies;
• Prepare certification reports, test plans and validate drawings.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of functional work experience
• Experience in stress repairs is an asset
• Experience in classic hand calculations
• Familiar with FAA regulations
• Good knowledge of Patran/Nastran and Catia V5
• Autonomous and organize
• Good team working and work ethic
