Join Pacific Power as a Finance/Accounting Manager. The role supports key areas including O&M expenses, capital expenditures, business planning, workforce management, regulatory filings, general accounting, month‑end close activities, and business support for internal client organizations.
General PurposeTogether with a team of financial analysts, you will lead the preparation of financial and business analyses, provide strategic guidance to senior leadership, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities- Lead analysis and interpretation of actual financial results, short‑term forecasting, and reporting for O&M expenses and capital project expenditures.
- Oversee development of long‑term O&M and workforce projections, including consolidation and reporting efforts.
- Provide financial, analytical, and business support to internal client organizations.
- Manage general accounting and month‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, cost allocations, ledger reconciliations, and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
- Support preparation of financial data for regulatory filings to state and federal agencies.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise a team of financial analysts.
- Perform other duties as needed to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Seven years of directly related experience.
- Three years of managerial or functional management experience.
- Management skills to establish objectives, execute policy, monitor resources, and implement systems.
- Leadership and teamwork skills to influence policy decisions and mobilize resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of internal controls and financial reporting.
- Advanced degree and/or CPA designation.
- Knowledge of FERC reporting standards and requirements.
- Experience with SAP and/or Oracle in an accounting or financial reporting role.
- Familiarity with the financial drivers and operational processes of electric generation facilities.

Hiring Range$119,400 – $154,400 annually.
