This volunteer experience is designed to introduce PSU students to Sports Medicine and Athletic Training services. The PSU Sports Medicine staff consists of Certified Athletic Trainers, Team Physicians, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and other allied healthcare specialists.
Students will perform duties including but not limited to:
- practice and event medical coverage observation and assistance
- apply injury mitigation strategies and rehabilitation protcols
- first aid and taping techniques
- documentation and data analysis
