Surgical Technologist – Open Heart Surgery – Metro Portland, OR Opportunity Highlights

• Full-time position (40 hrs/week) with onsite schedule
• Day shifts: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Sunday rotation with fair share call)
• Scrub role with a focus on open heart/cardiovascular procedures
• Supportive team environment within a well-established surgical department
• Participate in pre-op briefings, intraoperative support, and room turnovers
• Assist with case cart picking, sterile supply restocking, and instrument reprocessing
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, RNs, and surgical teams in a high-acuity setting

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology
• Surgical Technologist Certificate (required at time of hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least 1–2 years of surgical tech experience required
• Open heart or cardiovascular OR experience strongly preferred

• Hourly rate: $32.25 – $39.25/hr, based on experience
