RN Educator – Critical Care
Company: Providence Portland Medical Center
Full‑time, 36 hours per week;
Monday–Friday day shift (8 a.m.–5 p.m., flexible scheduling). This is a non‑virtual, on‑site position.
What you’ll do:
Responsibilities- Provide education that supports the provision and quality of nursing services at the facility level, aligned with Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals.
- Strategically plan and coordinate education to balance optimal and efficient patient care, staff, patient and physician satisfaction, and collaborative partnerships across organizational departments and professional groups.
- Support and maintain standards and systems for care delivery, promoting evidence‑based practice and managing productivity targets amid changing patient volumes, acuity, and resources.
- Lead education and planning initiatives to consistently support efficient and effective patient‑care services, aligning with organizational and system goals.
- Advance the strategic vision and goals of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence, constructively manage change, and promote a team‑based approach.
- Model professional nursing standards and expectations consistently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Education (or completion of a master’s degree within 3 years of hire for PL522).
- Oregon Registered Nurse license upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Six (6) years of nursing experience with progressive leadership roles.
