Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Float Pool Unit
Working in the float pool unit at Providence Portland Medical Center, the CNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). The role includes performing assigned duties, following care plans, and ensuring quality patient support during both day and night shifts.
Shift Details- .6 FTE with 7a‑7:30p or 7p‑7:30a shift options.
- Rotating weekends and holidays.
- Additional night shift differential of $4/hr.
- Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
- Assist RN in comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties as outlined in patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report patient status changes.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and mobility assistance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient satisfaction and safety.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License (valid upon hire).
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification.
- Experience in hospital or long‑term care setting.

Base pay range: $20.19 – $30.26 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, bonuses, and extra shift incentives.
